We start at 10AM. We are done by about 11:30AM.

We believe that we are called to share Jesus with people all over the world, and in Rochester, “all over the world” is in our back yard.

We believe that the Spirit of God is here and continually on the move. We leave room for that when we meet.

What happens when you walk in

  1. Park.

    Where to park, and is it free — not supplied

  2. Door.

    Someone says hello. You can tell them it is your first time, or not.

  3. Kids.

    You sign your child in. You are the one who signs them out.

    Sit anywhere. The back row is fine. Coming late is fine — walk in.

  5. Singing.

    The words are on a screen. Sing, or just listen.

  6. Teaching.

    One person teaches from the Bible. In English.

    There is coffee. People stay and talk. You can leave right away.

We don’t just do Sundays, we do living-rooms.

A small group is eight or ten people in someone’s home on a weeknight. You eat. You read a bit of the Bible. You talk. You pray for each other.

Come once and see. You are not signing up for anything.

You do not need to know the Bible. Most of us are still learning it.

Questions people ask

What is a church plant?

A brand new church. Not a new building for an old church — one that did not exist before. We are small, we have no history yet, and you would be one of the first people here. Some people like that. Some do not.

I have never been to a church. Will I look lost?

A little, and nobody will care. You do not have to stand up, sing, say anything, or give money. Sit down and watch.

Does it cost anything?

No. Nobody will ask you for money.

Do I have to believe this to come?

No. Plenty of people here are still deciding.

Is anyone here from another country?

Yes — many of us. We have people from Singapore, Taiwan, Mexico, Canada and many more!

What happens when you pray?

We think God is here and does things now, so we leave room for that. Sometimes the singing goes longer than planned. Sometimes people pray out loud, and some pray in a language you will not know. Nobody will ask you to do anything.

Why go to church at all?

One hour a week with people who know your name changes the other hours. And we think Jesus is really alive. If that is true, it is worth one Sunday to find out.

What is the gospel?

Gospel means good news. God made you and loves you. We all live like he is not there, and that breaks things. Jesus took that on himself and died. Then he came back to life. Anyone who wants him can have him. You do not clean yourself up first.

We have a room for your kids.

There is a room for them during the teaching, with adults who watch them and do something fun.
